Foster has started walking for real. He's always been pretty steady when walking with us but didn't have the guts to take off on his own until recently. And now there is no stopping him. It started with him standing in a room with me and then just turning and walking out of it and down the hall. There wasn't anyone to catch him at the other end. No one who was walking behind him so he felt confident that he'd be caught if he fell. He just took off.
That night he was walking around the yard, walking around the house, stomping up to me while I made dinner and then promptly turning around and stomping across the room to play with the TV remote. He still falls of course but has gotten better at that as well and usually lands on his butt instead of falling like a tree. He'll cry, but not because he's hurt. He'll cry because even though he can walk great he still can't stand up on his own, so if he falls he's down until someone helps him. Poor kid.
