Potty Trained!

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh.

Foster has been potty trained for over a week now. I'm SO excited. I was really worried about this phase because Foster has his mother's stubbornness and his father's ability to be lazy (sorry Ryan). I thought for sure he'd be in diapers until they just didn't fit anymore. I was especially worried about his ability to poop anywhere other than a diaper.

And then. It just happened. He started having 'pee parties' at Omee's house where he and Shep would be pantsless in the backyard and they could pee wherever they liked. Then he started having pee parties inside, where he would
be pantsless and would use the potty. Then he started wearing underwear and then pants over the underwear. By day 3 he successfully used a public restroom at a restaurant and by day 4 he wasn't having accidents anymore.

The first time he had to poop he insisted on doing it in his underwear in the bathroom at Omee's house. But the second time I offered to poop with him and he took me up on it. There we were, potty by potty, having a poo party together. He would affectionately pat my leg anytime he knew I was pushing one out and say, 'good job momma, you're doing it'. It was hard not to laugh, I just nodded and accepted his accolades. After that first time he was a pro. He's pooped successfully on the potty all week like it's no big deal.

I'm sure the chocolate after helps :)
