Kicks

I started to feel the baby kicking this week. For awhile I've probably felt it but thought it was gas...not something with which I'm unfamiliar. But the past few days it's been more definite. Feels like little kernels of popcorn going off in my lower abdomen. I'm really looking forward to when Ryan can feel them too.

We had a doctor's appointment this morning and got to hear the heartbeat again. Going strong at 160+ beats per minute and the doctor said that the baby is very active. We could definitely hear him/her bumping around in there.

 

We'll find out if the baby is a him or her in 15 days! Very excited to be able to really start thinking about names. We may have to share the name early if we find one we're set on, we're already up to 11 people (including us) that we know having babies in 2013 and that's only counting those due before July. It's going to be a busy year!
