Sicky Ricky

Poor Foster has been sick for over 3 weeks now but we're hoping he's finally on the tail end of things. He started out with a fever right around when he turned 9 months old and that turned into a really raspy little voice. His 'bahs' and cries sounded extra pitiful.

He then got some sort of cold that equated into more raspy voice, a rattle in his lungs that made for some pretty nasty sounding coughs, and massive amounts of snot. Poor kid hasn't been napping or sleeping well during all of this which means he's gotten a lot of sleep on me or Ryan or one of the grandparents. I'm a little terrified what his sleep patterns may look like after he's feeling better now that he's gotten a taste for constant rocking but there's no way I can say no to that snotty little face when he's just looking for a cuddle.

It doesn't help matters that Foster has also been teething. His two i-teeth are coming in which are supposed to be some of the more painful ones (how they know that I'm not sure...). His right one is through now and the left is on its way. Hopefully that will wrap up soon as well.

All and all we're still pretty lucky that he's so laid back that even while being sick he's been pretty cheerful. I remind myself of that at 2am when he's crying and arching back because he's mad that he has to cough.
